| Qualifier | In high/low games, it is a requirement that the low hand must meet in order to win the low part of the pot, otherwise the whole pot will be paid to the high hand. The usual requirement is to have five unpaired cards ranking lower than a Nine (Ace can count as Low). In some high/low poker games, straights or flushes do not count as a Low hand, whereas in others they do not discredit a low hand. |
